What began as a reason to hang with friends, drink beer and play Kan Jam has grown into something so much more. Jam Kancer has become a gift, a way for us to honor those we’ve lost to this disease by bringing sunshine and smiles to families similarly affected, letting them know that they are not alone.
While we started in Scotch Plains-Fanwood, it’s only because of the continued support of our SPF community that Jam Kancer has been able to help others beyond our borders. Still, there is no shortage of people in our own community and the funds raised at our SPF Kancer Jam each year enable us help our neighbors at a time when they need it most.
