Hi, my name is Matthew Hayeck. A lot of my friends and teammates call me Matty Ice. I play 4 sports but baseball is currently my favorite. I am starting to see all of my hard work and dedication begin to pay off. My team, SPF Raiders 12U Blue Crew has won several championships and we can't wait to compete in Cooperstown. I know we will face some tough competition from across the country, but I know we are up for the challenge. As excited as I am for the ultimate baseball experience, I am just as excited to help kids that are not as lucky as me. A good portion of the money that I am able to raise will be given to the Jam Kancer In The Kan foundation. Kan Jam directly helps local kids who have cancer to fulfill their dreams. The money might not allow them to play baseball like me, but it will definitely put a smile on their face.
