Hi, my name is Darién Quiceno and my friends call me DQ. Thank you for taking a look at my page! I have dedicated most of my life to being the best baseball player I can be but most importantly, the best person I can be. I play for Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders 12u Blue Crew and I think everyone on our team can all agree that the work we have put in is immeasurable. Over the years I have made dozens of friends and have been introduced to new, talented, and jovial people. In fact, being on the Raiders Blue Crew has made me consider my teammates more than friends. At this point, they are family.
My dad, who has been our coach for five years, often uses this quote: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” This quote resonates with me because when we lose a game, We talk about it, learn from it and make the necessary changes to make us a better Team. My team and I all agree that we have worked hard, and have excitedly been looking forward to enjoying the Cooperstown experience in 2022.
